7th - 9th decmeber

Monday 7th December

Today was the day to get everything together because in the afternoon we had rehearsals with Pete and Kate; in the morning with John sayward we had re-arranged the set again and had painted the set a little bluer with paint included we had painted the TV yet again turning it into a brown colour. After a short break, John had gave put on an analysis sheet we had watched have I got news for you again and this time had to carefully pay attention to how many camera’s there are on the show and how the set is laid out? With this there were more questions to answer.
Today was a 15 minutes shorter break we had done rehearsals at 1pm with Pete and Kate some of the class members were contestants of the rehearsals. With all of us to get our hands on camera’s and sound mixer etc. I was in the first half on the vision mixer which was not to hard as I had to concentrate on what the director, the assistant director and also the show so I was multi tasking. I thought I had made an excellent job and had achieved whatever Pete had told me. After the 15 minutes break I was back on the vision mixer with rehearsals over awe had watched the playback and had talked about today’s rehearsal after that the day was over and the next day was rehearsals again.

Tuesday 8th December

Today we were in at 1pm and with John Dempsey we had done rehearsals again this time I was an assistant floor managing in which I had to write down the scores down for the host for each round. Kirsten was the floor manager I had helped in many ways, and I had helped her invite the audience in and had greeted them. I had also made sure the host was OK and had known what was happening with the score board. In the second half I was back on the vision mixer we didn’t quiet finish the show on time today but with the Wednesday ahead we knew we had a lot to get on with.

Wednesday 9th December

With the day ahead of us we got in at 10.30 and had cracked on with the rehearsals performing the first half and little bit of the second half through to lunch. With te second half there was a little trouble as some of the VT’S did not quite work. After lunch will 2.15 we had rehearsed the second half again and had sorted the major problems out. After the break it was action time we had performed our show through out and had not stopped. For the show the first half I was the floor manager assistant and for the second half I was the vision mixer. After the show we had watched how well the show went and also had talked about our progress.

Thursday 10th December

Today we were in at 1pm and the post production people had edited the shoe with a little help from the group and then with Kate as a class we had analysed our show.
